My first song ever

I haven't shared this with too many people but for some reason i feel like sharing it to everyone, as my first song ever, it's not that great. I procrastinated this one for a long time, it actually took me a full 8 hours straight to come up with the lyrics. The instrumental is on my youtube page. So just match it up with the words!

(Please) Believe in Me
9/15/08-1/26/09

There's so many things I could do
I know you don't like it when I hide them from you

You can't keep your sorrow inside
And neither can I

Tonight's the night I show you
If you just give me one more chance
There's so much to do before our last dance

Believe in me and in the wind we will sway
So sing with me and my voice will take you away

Chorus
Believe in me for eternity
I can't forget about you
Will you forget about me
Believe in me for eternity
And I will be your savior
You can count on me
For I am your tranquility

I'm breaking your heart
I know it's true
Please, forgive me, baby
This is why I love you

Chorus

And I love you
yaheeyah
And I love you
Ooooooooh
yaheeyah
Just believe in me

Throw your dreams up high in the air
Don't worry, don't fret, I'll always be there
Anxieties are part of life
Baby, don't worry it'll be alright
Give it your best and I'll give it mine
No need to panic, we've got the time
I'll give you patience, I'll give you might
Please believe in me, we can win this fight

Chorus

Please believe in me
My Gabie

Blue Oyster Cult

Deffinitely one of my favorite bands of all time. I just saw them live at the Ribfest in Naperville, Illinois. It was amazing; I'm pretty much lost for words since I was about 20 feet away from the stage and I paid ten dollars to get it!! Honestly, I had more fun than when I saw Eric Clapton play at the United Center!! Even though Buck and Eric are the only original members left, it was still an amazing show. Of course with Rudy Sarzo on bass, you can't complain! It was just an outstanding performance, especially by the newcomers Richie Castellano on guitar and keyboards and Jules Radino on drums. I would say the best song the they played was "Cities on flame with rock and roll." I left the show dazed and confused. There was no doubt about it, that was the best concert I've been to!!

A man who left his mark on history forever....

Michael Jackson (1958-2009)

the greatest artist of all time. whether you are a fan or not, you cannot deny his insurmountable success as a musician. No one has achieved his status in the history of the industry. Thriller is still the best selling album of ALL TIME. With all of this success came many accusations of criminal activity and unfair rumors. Despite this his fans are still dedicated and show their support for him. Today at 2:26 P.M. (Pacific Time), Jackson was pronounced dead at the UCLA hospital after finding him on the ground in his rented mansion around 12:30 P.M. (Pacific Time). It was due to cardiac arrest that this happened. After he slipped into a coma, it was too late for them to save him. Arguably one of the most tragic stories in history, The King Of Pop dies at 50 years old. His life was one of tragedy and his life ends in tragedy. But what I will remember of Michael Jackson, is his music that made soundtracks for our lives. I remember when I had to do a gymnastics routine in gym class this year, and we could pick music for it. The first song that came to my mind was Beat It, my favorite. It turned the routine into an A++!! The unforgettable moment flashed into my mind today and I thank Michael for sharing his music with the world. No matter what situation I'm in, I can always find one of his songs to fit it just right. His music always inspires me to do better and become a better musician. His creativity and ambition was the beginning of a up and down career. Please respect his accomplishments and put away the negative aspects of his life, because he will always be remembered for his music. It inspired us ALL.

REST IN PEACE, MICHAEL

As my first post ever....Bands you should know about.....

Galneryus

this is one of my newest favorite bands because of their amazing skill and the outstanding effort that is put into making their songs. They come from Japan and have made theirselves a household name there and are making their way to the American audience. unfortunately, the vocalist, Yama-B, left the band which left the other members in disaray. It is yet to be decided of the fate of the band, but things are not looking hopeful. But Galneryus has created a variey of songs that have made an impression of Japan and many other fans. They are classified as power metal/neoclassical metal. They were formed in Osaka, Japan in 2001, formed by the now famous guitarist Syu and vocalist Yama-B. The band uses both Japanese and English lyrics in their songs. This video is of my favorite song of theirs, it is called New Legend....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjnNOkjnLVI
and just to prove how good they are live.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2aVKob1PjU
